Q&A ABOUT THE BOOK

What inspired you to write The Ripple Becomes the Dance?

This memoir began as a quiet need a need to understand the patterns I carried, the values I inherited, and the moments that shaped me. Writing became a way to reclaim my story, honor the truth, and offer something meaningful to anyone who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or unsure of their place in the world.

That healing is possible. That resilience is learned. And that our values the ones we choose, not just the ones we inherit can become the rhythm that guides us home.

Anyone who has lived through emotional complexity, family patterns, or quiet wounds that shaped their identity. Women navigating healing, growth, and self‑discovery. Readers who believe in the power of truth, reflection, and transformation.

Seen. Understood. And gently empowered to begin again.

It reflects the journey from impact to movement  from the first ripple of experience to the dance of becoming. Our earliest moments shape us, but they do not define us. We can choose our own rhythm.

Telling the truth with tenderness. Honoring the past without being consumed by it.

Realizing the girl I once was and the woman I became were never separate — writing allowed me to integrate them and reclaim the parts of myself I had set aside.

That their story matters. That their voice matters. And that every ripple can become part of a dance that leads them toward wholeness.
